Elaineybugs Is Born!

Like a lot of people, I like to start a new year with a new spirit of adventure and life.  God has been preparing me for big changes for the last month.  I don't know exactly what He has planned, but I`m excited about it!  With that excitement came a renewed desire to pray, draw close to God, and see where He is leading me. I`ve created this new blog to share my journey through this year. 

The reason I named this new blog "Elaineybugs" is Elaine is my name and over the years God has sent me ladybugs at some of my darkest, roughest moments to remind me He was with me, always.  I've had ladybugs land on me at the oddest times and in the most unlikely of places, usually within minutes of praying for courage, wisdom and strength.  I have found these signs of God's eternal presence in my life so pervasive and encouraging, that I even had one tattooed on my arm for my birthday a couple of months ago.   Now, anytime I look down at my left arm and see my ladybug, I remember that God is with me, all the time, no matter what.  What peace comes with that reminder!
